„Schill, schräg, bekloppt“, so kann man die Innsbrucker Crossover Band Insanity Alert am besten kurz und knapp beschreiben. Ich stehe wahrlich nicht auf Crossover; aber diese seltsamen Vögel musste ich mir (überwiegend aus dem Graben) einfach komplett reintun. Dass der Sänger Heavy Kevy aus den Niederlanden stammt, war nicht zu überhören und machte seinen besonderen Charm aus.
Die Truppe bot allerbeste Unterhaltung und war für mich DIE Überraschung beim ACFM Festival 2026.
Die Jungs spielen dieses Jahr auch in Wacken; auf dem Plan hatte ich sie bisher nicht; jetzt schon!
“Wild, weird, and wacky”—that’s the best way to describe the Innsbruck crossover band Insanity Alert in a nutshell. I’m really not into crossover, but I just had to take in every bit of these oddballs (mostly from the pit). It was impossible not to notice that the singer, Heavy Kevy, is from the Netherlands, and that’s what gave him his unique charm.
The band provided top-notch entertainment and was, for me, THE surprise of the ACFM Festival 2026.
The guys are also playing at Wacken this year; I hadn’t had them on my list yet, but now I do!
