Threshold is currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album Hypothetical and has, among others, the Norwegian band Course Of Fate as their opening act. Personally, I have a hard time with prog metal, so from a purely musical standpoint, the evening isn’t that easy for me.
Live, though, things often turn out better. So I was naturally curious about Course Of Fate, who opened the show at Kubana in Siegburg. It turned out that prog isn’t necessarily the best genre for getting the crowd going; it took the audience a while to warm up. All in all, though, it was a good set by the Norwegians.
