Wacken Tag 3, Freitag 01. August….
Mein heutiger Einstieg in den Tag erfolgte „pädagogisch wertvoll“. Man ist schließlich nie zu alt, um noch Neues zu lernen. Ich lernte an diesem Tag, dass nicht alle Dinosaurier ausgestorben sind, und dass es auch tatsächlich noch einen Drachen gibt. Diese Überbleibsel aus einer prähistorischen Evolotions-Phase haben sich zu einer Metal Band zusammengeschlossen. Mit dem erklärten Ziel, die Menschenkinder musikalisch dahin zu missionieren, dass sie nicht vom richtigen Weg abkommen und irgendwann Helene Fischer hören.
Erstaunlich, und wahrscheinlich auch das erste Mal in der Geschichte des WOA, dass sich um 11:00 nachtschlafender Zeit 35000 Menschen(Kinder) vor der W:E:T Stage versammelt hatten, um Heavysaurus zu sehen. Und das, was die Band präsentierte, war vom Allerfeinsten. Mr. Heavysaurus (v), Milli Pilli (key), Riffi Raffi (g), Kommpi Momppi (dr) und Muffi Puffi (dr) legten eine Show par Excellence auf die Bretter: Pyros und starke Musik, die nicht nur von den Kindern lauthals mitgesungen wurde.
Ich muss sagen: mich haben Heavysaurus angefixt!
Wacken Day 3, Friday, August 1…
My start to the day today was “educational.” After all, you’re never too old to learn something new. On this day, I learned that not all dinosaurs are extinct and that there is actually still a dragon. These remnants from a prehistoric evolutionary phase have joined forces to form a metal band. Their declared goal is to use music to convert human children so that they don’t stray from the right path and end up listening to Helene Fischer.
It was amazing, and probably the first time in the history of WOA, that at 11:00 a.m., when most people were still asleep, 35,000 people (children) had gathered in front of the W:E:T Stage to see Heavysaurus. And what the band presented was top-notch. Mr. Heavysaurus (v), Milli Pilli (key), Riffi Raffi (g), Kommpi Momppi (dr), and Muffi Puffi (dr) put on a show par excellence: pyrotechnics and powerful music that was sung along to at the top of their lungs, and not just by the children.
I have to say: Heavysaurus has me hooked!
