Der fantastische Abend bei den Düsseldorfer Death Thrashern mit Film- und Buchpremiere brauchte unbedingt als Abschluss noch eine Liveband, bevor die Anwesenden allesamt im Backstage der After Show frönten.
Die Thrasher aus Düsseldorf (woher auch sonst) Raging Rob übernahmen diesen Part. Die Truppe ist stark in der D.D.T. Szene verwurzelt, musikalisch allerdings fast eine Jungspund-Band, denn Raging Rob gibt es „erst“ seit 2014.
Die Stimmung war natürlich exzellent und die Band wurde abgefeiert. Lediglich das Licht und der Nebel war für uns Fotografen ein (bekanntes) Problem. Dass Thrash Bands von eh und je diese Art der Illumination bevorzugen, ist bekannt und hat sich leider bis zum heutigen Tag nicht geändert.
The fantastic evening with the Düsseldorf death thrashers, featuring a movie and book premiere, absolutely needed a live band to wrap things up before everyone headed backstage for the after-show party.
The thrashers from Düsseldorf (where else?)—Raging Rob—took on this role. The band is deeply rooted in the D.D.T. scene, though musically they’re practically a newcomer, since Raging Rob has “only” been around since 2014.
The atmosphere was, of course, excellent, and the band was celebrated. The only issue for us photographers was the lighting and fog—a (familiar) problem. It’s well known that thrash bands have always preferred this type of lighting, and unfortunately, that hasn’t changed to this day.
