Theophobos aus Guatemala sind die diesjährigen lokalen Metal Battle Gewinner. Leider – sagt ja schon der Name: W:E:T Stage – regnete es mal wieder bei ihrem Gig. Erschwerend kam dazu, dass die Bühne (die kompletten ersten drei Songs) total im Nebel lag, so dass meine Bilder alles andere als akzeptabel sind. Der Nebel war so stark, dass mir fast der Keyboarder am Bühnenrand entgangen wäre. Die Band erschien, bis auf einen Gitarristen, mit Masken, die einfach zu bunt waren, um zum Death Metal der Band zu passen. Nichts desto trotz wurde der Set vom Publikum bestens gefeiert.
Theophobos from Guatemala are this year’s local Metal Battle winners. Unfortunately – as the name says: W:E:T Stage – it was raining again during their gig. To make matters worse, the stage was totally covered in fog (for the first three songs), so my pictures are anything but acceptable. The fog was so thick that I almost missed the keyboard player at the edge of the stage. The band appeared, except for one guitarist, with masks that were simply too colorful to fit the band’s death metal. Nevertheless, the set was well received by the audience.
Theophobos, de Guatemala, son los ganadores locales de la Metal Battle de este año. Desgraciadamente, como su nombre indica: W:E:T Stage, llovía de nuevo durante su actuación. Para empeorar las cosas, el escenario estaba completamente cubierto de niebla (durante las tres primeras canciones), por lo que mis fotos son cualquier cosa menos aceptables. La niebla era tan espesa que casi no vi al teclista al borde del escenario. La banda apareció, excepto un guitarrista, con máscaras demasiado coloridas para el death metal del grupo. A pesar de todo, la actuación fue bien recibida por el público.
