Dieses Jahr haben die Macher des Detze Festivals meiner Meinung nach das Billing der letzten Jahre noch bei weitem getoppt! Es waren so viele hochkarätige Bands am Start, dass ich nicht die Entscheidung den Headliner Spot hätte treffen wollen.

Die Orga war wie gewohnt perfekt; Rahmenbedingungen mit zwei fetten Daumen nach oben. Was will man mehr.
Eine sehr weise und geile Entscheidung dann auch gleich bei der Wahl des Openers am Freitag. Violent Sin aus Belgien eröffneten das Spektakel und rissen gleich die Bühne mit ihrem Speed Metal ab. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals so viele enthusiastische Leute bei der ersten Band vor der Bühne gesehen zu haben. Und die Jungs gönnten weder sich, noch dem Publikum eine Sekunde Ruhepause. Super klasse Eröffnung des Detze Festivals.
In my opinion, the organizers of this year’s Detze Festival topped the billing of previous years by far! There were so many top-class bands at the start that I wouldn’t have wanted to choose the headliner spot.
The weather in the Eifel was extremely good on both days; a bit too extreme on Saturday…
The organization was perfect as usual; general conditions with two big thumbs up. What more could you want.
The choice of the opener on Friday was a very wise and cool decision. Violent Sin from Belgium opened the spectacle and immediately tore the stage apart with their speed metal. I can’t remember ever seeing so many enthusiastic people in front of the stage for the first band. And the guys didn’t give themselves or the audience a second’s rest. A super great opening of the Detze Festival.
