Die Heimat von Finsterforst hätte ich eher in Skandinavien vermutet, denn im heimischen Schwarzwald. Die Folk/Viking Metal Band stammt aus Freiburg, der sonenreichsten Stadt der Republik. Also ziemlich konträr zur düsteren Mucke der Band. Die Musik von Finsterforst kann jedem Vergleich zu nordischen Bands standhalten, und somit wurde den Fans vor der Wackinger Stage eine amtliche Vorstellung geboten.
I would have guessed that Finsterforst was from Scandinavia rather than the Black Forest here at home. The folk/Viking metal band hails from Freiburg, the city with the most sunshine in Germany. So that’s quite the contrast to the band’s dark sound. Finsterforst’s music holds its own against any Nordic band, and so the fans in front of the Wackinger Stage were treated to a spectacular performance.
