Ein kurzer Sprint von der Wackinger zur Faster Satge, um dort Paradise Lost zu sehen. Die Britische (Kult)Band gibt es ohne Pause seit 1988. Ich muss allerdings zu meiner Schande eingestehen, dass mir immer der Zugang zur Band und ihrer Musik gefehlt hat, und das hat sich auch nicht in Wacken geändert. Im Gegenteil: die Band, allem voran Sänger Nick Holmes, wirkte auf mich gelangweilt und extrem lustlos. Das Infield war zwar voll, und die Meute ging auch tierisch ab, mich konnten die Briten allerdings nicht überzeugen.

To my shame, though, I have to admit that I’ve never really connected with the band or their music, and that didn’t change at Wacken either.On the contrary: the band—especially singer Nick Holmes—seemed bored and extremely unenthusiastic to me. The infield was packed, and the crowd was going wild, but the British band just didn’t win me over.
