Sabina Classen’s Nerven lagen im Vorfeld des ersten Live Auftrittes ihrer reanimierten Band Temple Of The Absurd blank. Die Nächte zuvor waren wohl die Hölle für sie. Albträume in den gerade mal fünf Leute die Show auf der Wasteland Stage besuchten….Grausame Vorstellung. Dementsprechend erfreut war sie auch, als ich, gut 25 Minuten vor der Show, an der Bühne auflief. Ich denke, die fünf Leute in ihren Albträumen waren keine Fotografen… Dass schließlich der Pit restlos überfüllt war und die Fans dicht an dicht standen, ließ dann tonnenschwere Steine von ihrem Herzen fallen. Die Anspannung legte sich auch relativ schnell schon während des ersten Songs, so dass Sabina und Band den Auftritt auch selber genießen konnten. Welcome back Temple Of The Absurd.
Sabina Classen’s nerves were on edge in the run-up to the first live performance of her revived band, Temple Of The Absurd. The nights leading up to it must have been hell for her. Nightmares about the mere five people who showed up for the show on the Wasteland Stage… A terrifying thought. So she was understandably delighted when I walked up to the stage a good 25 minutes before the show. I don’t think the five people in her nightmares were photographers… The fact that the mosh pit was eventually completely packed and the fans were standing shoulder to shoulder lifted a massive weight off her shoulders. The tension also eased relatively quickly during the very first song, allowing Sabina and the band to enjoy the performance themselves. Welcome back, Temple Of The Absurd.
