Miracle Flair und FlowerLeaf hatten das Publikum im Siegburger Kubana bestens auf Edenbridge eingestimmt. In der Umbaupause lauschte ich den Gesprächen der umstehenden Fans und musste schmunzeln. Die Wenigsten hatten auf dem Schirm, dass die östereichische Symphonic Powermetal Band um Sängerin Sabine Edelsbacher keine „neue“ Band ist, sondern bereits 1998 (!!) gegründet wurde und im Jahr 2000 ihr Debüt veröffentlichte.
Gerne hätte ich den Linzern ein ausverkauftes Haus gegönnt; nichts desto trotz rockten Edenbridge, als wenn sie vor tausenden Bangern spielen würden. Der Spaß der Band sprang umgehend auf das Publikum über, und die Meute sang, schrie und schwitze, als wenn es ums eigene Leben ginge.
Erneut eine überragende Darbietung der Band, bravo!
Miracle Flair and FlowerLeaf had the crowd at Kubana in Siegburg perfectly primed for Edenbridge. During the stage changeover, I listened in on the conversations of the fans standing around and couldn’t help but smile. Very few of them realized that the Austrian symphonic power metal band led by singer Sabine Edelsbacher isn’t a “new” band, but was actually founded back in 1998 (!!) and released their debut album in 2000.
I would have loved to see the band from Linz play to a sold-out house; nevertheless, Edenbridge rocked as if they were playing in front of thousands of headbangers. The band’s energy immediately spread to the crowd, and the crowd sang, screamed, and sweated as if their lives depended on it.
Another outstanding performance by the band—bravo!
