Samstag, Tag 2 beim Detze Festival in der Eifel.
Für heute wurden noch höhere Temperatuten als am Vortag angesagt; dazu kam natürlich noch, dass die erste Band statt um 17:30 Uhr wie am Freitag, bereits um 13:30 Uhr in sengender Hitze auf die Bretter musste. Für Prehistoric War Cult aus Osnabrück war das Szenario bei hellstem Sonnenschein für eine Death Metal Band kein leichtes Unterfangen und geradezu pervers.
Aber nur die Harten komm‘ in Garten, da musste das Trio durch. Offensichtlich war die vorangegangene Nacht recht heftig, so dass sich am Anfang des Sets noch recht wenige Banger vor die Bühne schleppten. Aber PWC knüppelten dann doch immer mehr Leute aus den Zelten, so dass man den Set schlussendlich als gelungen attestieren konnte.
Saturday, day 2 at the Detze Festival in the Eifel.
Temperatures were forecast to be even higher today than the day before; in addition, the first band had to take to the stage at 1:30 pm instead of 5:30 pm as on Friday in the scorching heat. For Prehistoric War Cult from Osnabrück, the scenario in bright sunshine was no easy undertaking for a death metal band and downright perverse.
But only the strong survive, the trio had to go through with it. Obviously the previous night had been quite heavy, so that at the beginning of the set only a few bangers dragged themselves in front of the stage. But PWC then managed to get more and more people out of the tents, so that the set could ultimately be considered a success.
