In einem Sprint ging es nun für mich von der W:E:T zur Louder Stage, wo die Freibeuter von Visions Of Atlantis das Schiff klar zum Auslaufen gemacht hatten. Kapitänin Clémentine Delauney hatte ihre Mannschaft eingenordet, so dass es volle Kraft voraus ging.
Ich habe die Band bereits (einige Male) auf kleineren Bühnen erlebt; die Louder Stage gab der österreichischen Besatzung allerdings den nötigen Freiraum, um ungehindert auf Deck zu agieren. Natürlich ist die Frontfrau Dreh-und Angelpunkt der Band; allerdings wirkte das Gesamtbild absolut homogen und die Action auf Deck riss die große Fan Schar vor der Louder mit. Für mich ein unerwartetes Highlight des Wacken 2026.
I sprinted from the W:E:T to the Louder Stage, where the buccaneers of Visions Of Atlantis had clearly prepared the ship to set sail. Captain Clémentine Delauney had set her crew on course, so we were going full steam ahead.
I’ve seen the band (a few times) on smaller stages; but the Louder Stage gave the Austrian crew the space they needed to move freely around the deck. Of course, the frontwoman is the linchpin of the band; however, the overall performance felt completely cohesive, and the action on deck swept the large crowd of fans in front of the Louder Stage along with it. For me, it was an unexpected highlight of Wacken 2026.
