Michael Schenker tourt derzeit, unter dem Banner „Fiftieth Annivesary – My Years With UFO“ durch die Weltgeschichte und packt sich in der Oberhausener Turbinenhalle 2 gleich mal 3 Supportacts ins Billing.
Den Auftakt machen die Mädels von Malvada, die aus Sao Paulo/Brasilien angereist sind. Leider beginnt der Einlass eine halbe Stunde früher als angekündigt und Malvada müssen sogar 35 Minuten früher auf die Bretter. Zu dieser Zeit ist die Halle extrem spärlich gefüllt (übrigens weit ab von Sold Out, was aber unter anderem auch daran liegen kann, dass Airbourne zeitgleich im Kölner Palladium spielen).
Die Damen machen das Beste aus der Situation und spielen sich den Arsch ab. Das führt dann Gott sei Dank dazu, dass sich die Halle schnell füllt und nach der Hälfte des Sets auch sehr positive Resonanzen von Seiten des Publikums hervorruft.
Guter Auftritt unter erschwerten Bedingungen. Daumen hoch!
Michael Schenker is currently touring the world under the banner “Fiftieth Anniversary – My Years With UFO” and has packed three support acts into the billing at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen.
The girls from Malvada, who have traveled from Sao Paulo, Brazil, kick things off. Unfortunately, the doors open half an hour earlier than announced, and Malvada have to take the stage 35 minutes early. At this point, the hall is extremely sparsely filled (far from sold out, which may be due in part to Airbourne playing at the Palladium in Cologne at the same time).
The ladies make the best of the situation and play their hearts out. Thankfully, this leads to the hall filling up quickly and, halfway through the set, eliciting very positive responses from the audience.
A good performance under difficult conditions. Thumbs up!
Michael Schenker está atualmente em digressão mundial sob o lema «Fiftieth Anniversary – My Years With UFO» e traz consigo três bandas de apoio para o Turbinenhalle 2, em Oberhausen.
A abertura fica a cargo das raparigas do Malvada, vindas de São Paulo, Brasil. Infelizmente, a entrada começa meia hora mais cedo do que o anunciado e o Malvada tem de subir ao palco 35 minutos antes. A essa altura, a sala está extremamente vazia (aliás, longe de estar esgotada, o que pode ser devido, entre outras coisas, ao facto de o Airbourne estar a tocar ao mesmo tempo no Palladium, em Colónia).
As senhoras tiram o melhor partido da situação e dão o seu melhor. Felizmente, isso faz com que a sala se encha rapidamente e, a meio do concerto, o público reaja de forma muito positiva.
