Doro veranstaltet relativ oft Fanclub Treffen, zu denen ihre Fans extra aus ganz Europa anreisen. Und damit es für ihre „Patrons“ auch immer spannend bleibt, bietet die Metal Queen aus Düsseldorf immer ganz spezielle Sachen an. Dieses Mal nahm Doro das 40 jährige Jubiläum des Haus der Jugend zum Anlass, nach ihrem „intimen“ Treffen mit dem Fanclub am Abend einen Akustik Set zu spielen.
Ich kannte das Haus der Jugend bis dahin nicht und war recht angetan von diesem feinen Venue. Der Laden war natürlich rappelvoll, als die Queen mit Drummer Johnny Dee, Gitarrist Bas Maas und Gastgitarrist Zibby Krebs die Bühne enterte.
Als Überraschung stieg später im Set auch noch Andy Brings auf die Bretter. Ein toller Tag, ein toller Abend!
Doro hosts fan club meetings relatively often, with fans traveling from all over Europe to attend. And to keep things exciting for her “Patrons,” the Metal Queen from Düsseldorf always offers something special. This time, Doro took the 40th anniversary of the Haus der Jugend as an opportunity to play an acoustic set after her “intimate” meeting with the fan club in the evening. I wasn’t familiar with the Haus der Jugend before and was quite taken with this fine venue. The place was packed, of course, when the Queen took the stage with drummer Johnny Dee, guitarist Bas Maas, and guest guitarist Zibby Krebs.
As a surprise, Andy Brings also joined the band later in the set. A great day, a great evening!
