Dass Disturbed in den USA groß sind, war mir schon klar. Dass sie aber auch in Deutschland Hallen wie den PSD Bank Dome mit rund 15000 Leuten füllen können, hat mich ehrlich gesagt überrascht. Die Jungs aus Chicago inszenierten sich in perfektester Art und Wese. Eine tolle Bühne, geile Lightshow und von Anfang an (schön für uns Fotografen) auch gleich Pyros satt.
Der musikalische Set gesplittet: zuerst „The Sickness“ mit 12 Songs, anschließend der „Greatest Hits“ Part unter anderem auch mit dem genialen Simon & Garfunkel Cover „Sound Of Silence„.
Das Publikum ging von der ersten Minute ab, als wenn es kein Morgen gäbe. Ich habe Disturbed das erste mal gesehen (und fotografiert) und war komplett geflasht. So muss Entertainment sein!!
I already knew that Disturbed are big in the USA. But I was honestly surprised that they could also fill venues like the PSD Bank Dome in Germany with around 15,000 people. The guys from Chicago staged themselves in the most perfect way. A great stage, an awesome light show, and (great for us photographers) plenty of pyrotechnics right from the start.
The musical set was split into two parts: first “The Sickness” with 12 songs, followed by the “Greatest Hits” part, including the brilliant Simon & Garfunkel cover “Sound Of Silence.”
The audience went wild from the very first minute, as if there were no tomorrow. I saw (and photographed) Disturbed for the first time and was completely blown away. This is what entertainment should be like!
