Noch im str\u00f6menden Regen gings f\u00fcr mich von der Wackinger<\/strong> zur Wasteland Stage,<\/strong> wo die amerikanischen Thrasher Warbringer<\/strong> die B\u00fchne in Schutt und Asche legten. Der Regen lie\u00df kurz nach, bevor er um so heftiger auf das Publikum (und die Fotografen im Pit) herunterprasselte. Obwohl ich nicht sehr lange vor der B\u00fchne ausgehalten habe, hinterlie\u00dfen Warbringer<\/strong> bei mir einen bleibenden und \u00e4u\u00dferst guten Eindruck. \nEs sei mir an dieser Stelle gestattet, etwas Kritik zu \u00e4u\u00dfern: klar, Regeln werden nicht umsonst gemacht und jeder \u00e4rgert sich hier und da, dass es einen selbst erwischt. Im Fall des Security Chefs an der Wasteland<\/strong> B\u00fchne war das Ma\u00df f\u00fcr mich und viele meiner Foto Kollegen und Kolleginnen allerdings voll! Statt uns bei str\u00f6menden Regen auf der linken Seite, die immer frei und nur zehn Meter zum befestigten Weg Richtung Presse Bereich entfernt war, bestand der Knabe, der uns von oben herab „siezte“, darauf, dass wir uns immer durch den extrem hohen Schlamm durch das komplette Publikum auf die andere Seite der B\u00fchne begeben mussten. Mit Kameras im Wert von Kleinwagen rutschend, stolpernd und dem heftigen Regen ausgesetzt. Und dann, nach den drei Songs, genau diesen Weg durch die Menge wieder zur\u00fcck. F\u00fcr uns, mit unserem empfindlichen Equipment ein NO GO, so dass nicht nur f\u00fcr mich, das Warbringer<\/strong> Konzert das erste und letzte auf der Wastland Stage<\/strong> bleiben sollte. Etwas Flexibilit\u00e4t sollte gew\u00e4hrleistet sein (\u00fcbrigens bei keiner anderen B\u00fchne ein Problem). Schade f\u00fcr die Bands.<\/p>\n
\nAt this point I would like to express some criticism: of course, rules are not made for nothing and everyone gets annoyed here and there when they get caught. However, in the case of the head of security at the Wasteland stage, I and many of my photo colleagues were really annoyed! Instead of keeping us on the left side of the stage in the pouring rain, which was always free and only ten meters away from the paved path towards the press area, the guy who \u201csaluted\u201d us from above insisted that we always had to make our way through the extremely high mud through the entire audience to the other side of the stage. Sliding, stumbling and exposed to the heavy rain with cameras worth of small cars. And then, after the three songs, exactly the same way back through the crowd. For us, with our sensitive equipment, a NO GO, so that the Warbringer concert was to be the first and last on the Wastland Stage, and not just for me.
