Das Wacken Open Air 2025<\/strong> wird als eines der regenreisten Jahrg\u00e4nge in Deutschlands Norden in die Annalen der Metal Geschichte eingehen. Heftige Regenf\u00e4lle im Wechsel mit Sonne, blauem Himmel, Wolken und vertr\u00e4glichem Landregen.
\nDie Orga war wie schon in den Vorjahren klasse; da, wo jetzt Unwetter reingr\u00e4tschte, wurden auftretende „M\u00e4ngel“ gut und zeitnah behoben.
\nAn das regnerische Wetter hatte man sich schnell gew\u00f6hnt. Am ersten Tag noch nervig, zuckte man am zweiten schon gleichg\u00fcltig mit den Achseln.<\/p>\n

Meine pers\u00f6nliche Bilanz: in Wacken<\/strong> 80,8 km gelaufen, 111724 Schritte gegangen, ca 13000 Fotos gemacht (genaue Zahl muss ich checken) und leider „nur“ 67 Bands fotografiert. Der Starkregen und Matsch machten das Fotografieren immer wieder unm\u00f6glich. Gef\u00fchlt wurde \u00fcber uns zeitweise Badewannen voll Wasser ausgesch\u00fcttet. Das wollte man den Kameras nicht zumuten. Trotz allem sind bei einigen Kolleginnen und Kollegen Kameras, Objektive und Akkus „gestorben“.<\/p>\n

Am Mittwoch, dem ersten offiziellen WOA<\/strong> Tag, stieg ich mit dem Metal Battle<\/strong> Gewinner Deutschlands, Gun Called Britney, ins Geschehen ein und war sowohl von der Mucke als auch vom Stage Acting angetan. Als erste Band auf die W.E.T Stage<\/strong> zu steigen und gleich Alarm zu machen, war eine tolle Leistung. Die Hamburger sollte man unbedingt im Auge behalten.<\/p>\n

Wacken Open Air 2025 will go down in the annals of metal history as one of the rainiest years in the north of Germany. Heavy rainfall alternating with sun, blue skies, clouds and tolerable country rain.<\/em>
\nAs in previous years, the organization was great; where storms did come in, any \u201cshortcomings\u201d that occurred were rectified promptly and effectively.<\/em>
\nWe quickly got used to the rainy weather. On the first day it was still annoying, but by the second day people were shrugging their shoulders indifferently.<\/em><\/p>\n

My personal results: I walked 80.8 km in Wacken, walked 111724 steps, took about 13000 photos (I have to check the exact number) and unfortunately \u201conly\u201d photographed 67 bands. The heavy rain and mud made it impossible to take photos again and again. It felt like bathtubs full of water were being poured over us at times. We didn’t want to put the cameras through that. Despite everything, some of our colleagues‘ cameras, lenses and batteries \u201cdied\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the first official WOA day, I got into the action with the Metal Battle winner from Germany, Gun Called Britney, and was impressed by both the music and the stage acting. To be the first band on the W.E.T Stage and to immediately set the alarm was a great performance. You should definitely keep an eye on these guys from Hamburg.<\/em><\/p>\n
