Ich hatte das Gl\u00fcck, Crimson Glory<\/strong> 1989 auf dem Metal Hammer Festival<\/strong> in Dortmund zu sehen. Damals mit „Midnight<\/strong>“ (+2009) am Micro und die Band mit Masken. Diese hat man inzwischen komplett abgelegt und pr\u00e4sentiert sich den Fans barh\u00e4uptig. Dass ich die Jungs aus Florida noch einmal sehen w\u00fcrde, wagte ich gar nicht zu hoffen. Das wurde nun in Wacken<\/strong> noch einmal m\u00f6glich. Unl\u00e4ngst hatten Crimson Glory<\/strong> das starke Album „Chasing The Hydra<\/strong>“ mit S\u00e4nger Travis Wills<\/strong> ver\u00f6ffentlicht, was mich sehr beeindruckt hat. Live ist diese neue Konstellation einfach der Hammer! Travis‘<\/strong> Stimme zeigt viele Parallelen zu Midnight<\/strong>, was ihm auch erm\u00f6glicht, die alten Klassiker perfekt zu singen. So war dieses Konzert f\u00fcr mich ein weiteres Wacken 2026<\/strong> Highlight (was ich auch so erhofft und erwartet hatte).<\/p>\n I was lucky enough to see Crimson Glory in 1989 at the Metal Hammer Festival in Dortmund. Back then, \u201cMidnight\u201d (+2009) was on vocals, and the band wore masks. They\u2019ve since ditched the masks entirely and now perform bare-faced for their fans. I never dared to hope that I\u2019d see the guys from Florida again. But now, at Wacken, that became possible once more. Crimson Glory recently released the powerful album \u201cChasing The Hydra\u201d with singer Travis Wills, which really impressed me. Live, this new lineup is simply amazing! Travis\u2019s voice bears many similarities to Midnight\u2019s, which allows him to sing the old classics perfectly.
