Ich war nie ein Savatage<\/strong> „Die Hard“ Fan, bin aber relativ fr\u00fch musikalisch mit den Jungs aus Tampa\/Florida in Kontakt gekommen. „Power Of The Night<\/strong>“ war mein Savatage-Einstieg<\/strong> und mit „Hall Of The Mountain Kin<\/strong>g“ hatten mich die Jungs im Griff. Ich bin wohl einer der Wenigen, der die Fr\u00fchphase von Savatage<\/strong> deutlich interessanter fand, als die Kult-Periode ab „Gutter Ballet<\/strong>„. Leider hat sich mir nie die M\u00f6glichkeit er\u00f6ffnet, die Band live zu sehen und so war ich um so aufgeregter, dass Wacken 2026<\/strong> die Gelegenheit bot. Aus gesundheitlichen Gr\u00fcnden konnte Mastermind Jon Oliva<\/strong> leider nicht bei diesem Auftritt dabei sein. Dennoch war das Konzert sehr beeindruckend und erzeugte durchaus G\u00e4nsehaut.<\/p>\n I was never a die-hard Savatage fan, but I was introduced to the guys from Tampa, Florida, relatively early on. \u201cPower of the Night\u201d was my first Savatage album, and by the time \u201cHall of the Mountain King\u201d came out, they had me hooked. I\u2019m probably one of the few who found Savatage\u2019s early phase much more interesting than their cult period starting with \u201cGutter Ballet.\u201d Unfortunately, I never had the chance to see the band live, so I was all the more excited that Wacken 2026 offered that opportunity. For health reasons, mastermind Jon Oliva was unfortunately unable to be part of this performance.
