20 Jahre ACFM Festival<\/strong>! Das ist in der heutigen Zeit schon eine Hausnummer, die jede Menge Respekt verdient. 20 Jahre Familientreffen! 20 Jahre eine aufreibende Orga, die man Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr mit einem perfekten Team gl\u00e4nzend zu einem denkw\u00fcrdigen Ereignis zu stemmen vermochte. Nun denn, nach viel Karaoke er\u00f6ffneten Disreality<\/strong> am Freitag den Live Reigen. Die K\u00f6lner Death\/Thrash Band legte als erste von 13 Bands des Festivals einen energiegeladenen Auftritt hin und lockten schon zu fr\u00fcher Tagesstunde jede Menge Banger in die Halle. 20 years of the ACFM Festival! In this day and age, that\u2019s quite an achievement that deserves a lot of respect. 20 years of family reunions! 20 years of grueling organization that, year after year, a perfect team has managed to pull off brilliantly, turning it into a memorable event.<\/em> Well then, after plenty of karaoke, Disreality kicked off the live performances on Friday. \nDie Bands, die das Vergn\u00fcgen haben, beim ACFM Festival<\/strong> aufzutreten, waren allesamt immer begeistert von der r\u00fchrenden, perfekten Betreuung und von der Begeisterung des Publikums.
\nDass ausgerechnet das 20 j\u00e4hrige Jubil\u00e4um zu einer Herausforderung einer ganz anderen Art werden w\u00fcrde, h\u00e4tte im Vorfeld niemand zu tr\u00e4umen gewagt. Viermal (!!!) wurden Jan M\u00fcller<\/strong> und Team mit Absagen von Bands konfrontiert. Steelpreacher<\/strong> und knapp vor dem Festival Hiraes<\/strong> aus gesundheitlichen Gr\u00fcnden; Cobra Spell<\/strong> (Gotts sei Dank) mit etwas Vorlauf, weil man sich schlicht entschieden hatte, die Band f\u00fcr unbestimmte Zeit auf Eis zu legen, und dann w\u00e4hrend des laufenden Festivals am Freitag die Absage von Tailgunner<\/strong> ohne findierte Aussage \u00fcber die Gr\u00fcnde. Die Stellungnahme des Managements: „Due to some unforeseen circumstances Tailgunner<\/strong> will be unable to perform at A Chance For Metal<\/strong> tomorrow.“ So etwas ist unprofessionell und wird zuk\u00fcnftig andere Veranstalter zur Vorsicht mahnen, wenn es darum geht, die Band zu buchen. Das ACFM Team<\/strong> konnte quasi auf Zuruf The Night Eternal,<\/strong> verpflichten, am Samstag den Headliner Part zu \u00fcbernahmen, was \u00fcbrigens definitiv nicht nach einer „Notl\u00f6sung“ aussah.
\nNach dem Festival verk\u00fcndete „Macher“ Jan M\u00fcller,<\/strong> dass er nach zwanzig Jahren etwas k\u00fcrzer treten wolle und in die zweite Reihe des Teams treten werde. Seine Position wird nun von Marvin Asbach<\/strong> (was f\u00fcr ein Name) \u00fcbernommen, der bereits seit vielen Jahren ein wichtiges R\u00e4dchen im Orga Team ist. Bleibt Jan<\/strong> danke zu sagen f\u00fcr all die Jahre und Marvin<\/strong> viel Gl\u00fcck zu w\u00fcnschen!<\/p>\n

\nIn 2026, we\u2019ll be back at the Ochtendung Cultural Hall, a true gem among venues. A great atmosphere, a massive stage, and excellent sound make this annual spectacle an extraordinary event.<\/em>
\nThe bands that have had the pleasure of performing at the ACFM Festival have always been thrilled by the warm, perfect hospitality and the enthusiasm of the audience.<\/em>
\nNo one could have imagined beforehand that the 20th anniversary, of all things, would turn into a challenge of a completely different kind. Jan M\u00fcller and his team were faced with cancellations from bands four times (!!!). Steelpreacher and, just before the festival, Hiraes due to health reasons; Cobra Spell (thank God) with some advance notice, because they had simply decided to put the band on hiatus indefinitely; and then, during the festival on Friday, the cancellation by Tailgunner without any specific explanation of the reasons. The management\u2019s statement: \u201cDue to some unforeseen circumstances, Tailgunner will be unable to perform at A Chance For Metal tomorrow.\u201d This kind of thing is unprofessional and will make other organizers think twice in the future when it comes to booking the band. The ACFM team was able to sign The Night Eternal virtually on the spot to take over the headlining slot on Saturday, which, by the way, definitely didn\u2019t look like a \u201cstopgap solution.\u201d<\/em>
\nAfter the festival, \u201corganizer\u201d Jan M\u00fcller announced that after twenty years, he wanted to take a step back and move to the second tier of the team. His position will now be taken over by Marvin Asbach (what a name), who has been an important cog in the organizing team for many years. All that\u2019s left is to thank Jan for all these years and wish Marvin the best of luck!<\/em><\/p>\n
