Ich will mal ganz ehrlich sein: als Gitarrist Herman Frank<\/strong> 2013 das Flaggschiff Victory<\/strong> reanimierte, habe ich mich nach dem Sinn dieser Aktion gefragt. Jetzt, fast 13 Jahre sp\u00e4ter hat sich herausgestellt, dass dieses Unterfangen bei Leibe keine Schnapsidee war, sondern mittels unaufh\u00f6rlicher Arbeit Schritt f\u00fcr Schritt die Band wieder auf Spur gebracht hat.
\nAuch die vermeintlich passende Besetzung hatte sich gefunden, wenn nicht kurz vor der anstehenden Tour S\u00e4nger Gianni Pontillo<\/strong> seinen Abschied verk\u00fcndet h\u00e4tte und in Richtung Nazareth<\/strong> abwandert w\u00e4re. F\u00fcr mich \u00fcbrigens kaum verst\u00e4ndlich, dass die Schotten sich f\u00fcr den ex-Victory<\/strong> Shouter entschieden haben. Sei’s drum!
\nHermann Frank<\/strong> und seine Jungs waren nat\u00fcrlich gekniffen; standen ja einige Konzerte an, f\u00fcr die man sich schnellstens Live Ersatz reinholen musste. Diesen Job \u00fcbernahm Bonfire<\/strong> S\u00e4nger Dyan Mair,<\/strong> inzwischen, wen wundert es und Hans Ziller<\/strong> sei Dank, ex-Bonfire<\/strong> S\u00e4nger Dyan Mair<\/strong>.
\nDieser schaffte sich innerhalb 10 Tagen die Songs drauf und outete sich im restlichen Bandgef\u00fcge als Gewinn des Jahrhunderts. Nicht nur, dass Dyan<\/strong> (nach der Reunion) der stimmlich geilste Victory<\/strong> Shouter ist, er ist auch ein Entertainer vor dem Herrn. Und so war der Gig im Siegburger Kubana<\/strong> der mit Abstand beste Victory<\/strong> Set, den ich je gesehen habe. Und ich habe auch seinerzeit die Band noch mit Charlie Huhn<\/strong> erlebt.
\nBleibt nun zu hoffen, dass nach Dyans Bonfire<\/strong> Abgesang, sein Weg als festes Victory<\/strong> Mitglied bei den Hannoveranern weitergehen wird!!<\/p>\n

I’ll be completely honest: when guitarist Herman Frank revived the flagship Victory in 2013, I wondered what the point of it was. Now, almost 13 years later, it turns out that this endeavor was by no means a crazy idea, but rather, through relentless work, it has brought the band back on track step by step.<\/em>
\nThe supposedly perfect line-up had also been found, if singer Gianni Pontillo hadn’t announced his departure shortly before the upcoming tour and moved on to Nazareth. Incidentally, I find it hard to understand why the Scots chose the ex-Victory shouter. Anyway!<\/em>
\nHermann Frank and his boys were naturally in a bind; they had several concerts coming up and needed to find a replacement live singer as quickly as possible. This job was taken on by Bonfire singer Dyan Mair, who, unsurprisingly and thanks to Hans Ziller, is now ex-Bonfire singer Dyan Mair.<\/em>
\nHe learned the songs within 10 days and proved himself to be the band’s greatest asset. Not only is Dyan (after the reunion) the most awesome Victory shouter vocally, he is also an entertainer par excellence. And so the gig at Kubana in Siegburg was by far the best Victory set I have ever seen. And I also saw the band with Charlie Huhn back in the day.<\/em>
\nLet’s hope that after Dyan’s farewell to Bonfire, he will continue his journey as a permanent Victory member with the Hanover band!<\/em><\/p>\n
