Ich kann’s kaum glauben: vierzig Jahre Helloween.<\/strong> Ich kann mich noch daran erinnern, als w\u00e4re es gestern gewesen, als ich mir die Deb\u00fct EP gekauft habe. Zu Hause auf den Plattenteller…. Und in komplett neue Dimensionen katapultiert….
\nDass die K\u00fcrbisk\u00f6pfe heute beliebter sind denn je, ist ohne Frage auch ein Ergebnis der permanent geilen Alben, die bis zum heutigen Tag ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden. So war dann auch kein Wunder, dass das Konzert am 31.10. ruckzuck ausverkauft war, so dass man am Tag vorher glatt noch ein Zusatzkonzert ansetzte, was wiederum reichlich TIckets unters Volk brachte.
\nIm Nachhinein war ich froh, dass ich bei dieser Zusatzshow dabei war, obwohl einen Tag sp\u00e4ter nach Aussage einiger Kollegen, der Sound deutlich besser gewesen sein soll.
\nAllerdings stellte der Veranstalter erschrocken am Donnerstag fest, dass trotz der halbst\u00fcndigen vorgezogenen Beast In Black<\/strong> Show, Helloween<\/strong> erst gegen 23:30 Uhr die Ziellinie ihres Konzertes erreichen w\u00fcrden.
\nHelloween<\/strong> bekamen somit die Auflage, um 23:00 Uhr fertig zu sein, was Andi Deris<\/strong> (und restliche Band) offensichtlich f\u00fcr einen Scherz hielten. Als dann gegen 23:00 Uhr die Zugaben eingeleitet werden sollten (Eagle Fly Free, Power, Dr. Stein, Keeper Of The Seven Keys), ert\u00f6nte Feueralarm, der sich, nach R\u00e4umung der Halle, als „Fehlalarm“ herausstellte. Na, so ein Zufall….. Wer’s glaubt…
\nSomit hatte ich zuf\u00e4lliger Weise mit dem ersten Konzert der Band im RohrCongress Bochum,<\/strong> die bessere Wahl getroffen. Auch wenn zum Ende hin der Sound etas breiiger wurde, so war die Jubil\u00e4umsshow ohne Frage eine klasse Darbietung, bei der alle Bandmitglieder sichtlich Spa\u00df \u00fcber alle Backen hatten.
\nDie Songauswahl war gut, auch wenn ich selber lieber einige andere St\u00fccke auf der Setlist gew\u00fcnscht h\u00e4tte; aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
\nWieder einmal ein klasse Konzert der Hamburger!!<\/p>\n

I can hardly believe: forty years of Helloween. I can still remember buying their debut EP as if it were yesterday. At home on the turntable… And catapulted into completely new dimensions…
\nThe fact that the pumpkin heads are more popular today than ever before is undoubtedly also a result of the consistently awesome albums that continue to be released to this day.
\nSo it was no surprise that the concert on October 31 sold out in no time, prompting the organizers to schedule an additional concert the day before, which in turn sold a lot of tickets.
\nIn retrospect, I was glad I attended this additional show, even though, according to some colleagues, the sound was supposed to have been much better the following day.
\nHowever, on Thursday, the organizer was shocked to discover that, despite the Beast In Black show being brought forward by half an hour, Helloween would not reach the finish line of their concert until around 11:30 p.m.
\nHelloween were therefore instructed to finish by 11:00 p.m., which Andi Deris (and the rest of the band) obviously thought was a joke. When the encores were about to begin at 11:00 p.m. (Eagle Fly Free, Power, Dr. Stein, Keeper Of The Seven Keys), the fire alarm went off, which, after the hall was evacuated, turned out to be a \u201cfalse alarm.\u201d Well, what a coincidence… Who believes that…<\/em>
\nSo, by chance, I had made the better choice with the band’s first concert at the RohrCongress Bochum. Even though the sound became a bit muddy towards the end, the anniversary show was without question a great performance, with all band members clearly having a blast. The song selection was good, even though I would have preferred a few other songs on the set list; but that’s just nitpicking. Once again, a great concert by the Hamburg band!<\/em><\/p>\n
