Es ist inzwischen bereits wieder drei Jahre her, dass ich Rage<\/strong> live gesehen habe. Damals war Gitarrist Jean Bormann<\/strong>  gerade frisch dabei und hatte noch Stefan Weber<\/strong> an der zweiten Gitarre als Sechssaiter Sidekick dabei. Bekanntlich stieg Stefan<\/strong> aber schon kurz danach wieder aus und Jean<\/strong> hatte fortan Rhythmus und Leads gleicherma\u00dfen abzuliefern. F\u00fcr mich erstaunlich, wie souver\u00e4n er das hinbekommt, zumal er dar\u00fcber hinaus ja noch permanent in Bewegung ist und nicht nur musikalisch, sondern auch optisch einen exzellenten Eindruck hinterl\u00e4sst. Nun, Peavy<\/strong> hat eigentlich immer ein gutes Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr brillante Musiker gehabt und bl\u00fcht selber in der Dreier Konstellation mit Drummer Lucky<\/strong> extrem auf. Wenn dann noch ein frenetisch johlendes Publikum vor der B\u00fchne wartet, dass passt hat alleszusammen. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass Peavys<\/strong> Erwartungen an den Abend von der Kubana<\/strong> Meute mehr als \u00fcbertroffen wurden, was sich in einer umwerfenden Spiellaune des Dreiers widerspiegelte. F\u00fcr mich einer der besten Auftritte von Rage<\/strong> ever.<\/p>\n

It’s already been three years since I last saw Rage live. At that time, guitarist Jean Bormann had just joined the band and still had Stefan Weber on second guitar as his six-string sidekick. As we all know, Stefan left the band shortly afterwards, leaving Jean to deliver both rhythm and lead guitar parts. I find it amazing how confidently he manages this, especially since he is constantly on the move and makes an excellent impression not only musically but also visually. Well, Peavy has always had a good eye for brilliant musicians and really flourishes in the trio constellation with drummer Lucky. When you add a frenetically cheering audience waiting in front of the stage, everything fits together perfectly. I had the impression that Peavy’s expectations for the evening were more than exceeded by the Kubana crowd, which was reflected in the trio’s stunning performance. For me, it was one of Rage’s best performances ever.<\/em><\/p>\n
