Helmet,<\/strong> die ich gerne gesehen h\u00e4tte, habe ich auf Grund des starken Regens gecancelt und watete zur Faster Stage<\/strong>, um Within Temptation<\/strong> zu sehen. Die B\u00fchne der Holl\u00e4nder war der blanke Wahnsinn, absolut umwerfend und die Show einmalig. F\u00fcr mich war es das erste Mal, dass ich Within Temptation<\/strong> gesehen habe und ich muss sagen, dass (nicht nur) ich, total begeistert war. <\/p>\n

Inzwischen hatte der Regen an Intensit\u00e4t extrem zugelegt. Viele der Kolleginnen und Kollegen suchten Schutz im Pressezelt und versuchten, sich und die Kameras zu trocknen. Ich hatte unter anderem noch Die Apokalyptischen Reiter<\/strong> und King Diamond<\/strong> auf dem Plan. Das Herz sagte ja zu den Shows, die Vernunft allerdings lie\u00df mich mit Within Temptation<\/strong> den Tag und das WOA 2025<\/strong> beenden.<\/p>\n

Wacken 2025<\/strong> war trotz des vielen Regens wieder einmal eine tolle Veranstaltung, auch wenn ich weit \u00fcber ein Dutzend Bands \u00fcber die vier Tage u.a. wegen des Schlamms nicht fotografieren konnte.
\nWacken 2026<\/strong> steht quasi vor der T\u00fcr. Tolle Bands sind angek\u00fcndigt und die Vorfreude steigt unerm\u00fcdlich.
\nAn dieser Stelle noch einmal meine Hochachtung vor der Orga, Dank an Security und all die Leute, die f\u00fcr uns im Einsatz waren.

I canceled seeing Helmet, whom I would have liked to see, due to the heavy rain and waded to the Faster Stage to see Within Temptation. The Dutch band’s stage was absolutely amazing, totally stunning, and the show was unique. It was the first time I had seen Within Temptation, and I have to say that I (and others) was totally thrilled.<\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the rain had increased in intensity. Many of my colleagues sought shelter in the press tent and tried to dry themselves and their cameras. Among others, I still had Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and King Diamond on my schedule. My heart said yes to the shows, but reason told me to end the day and WOA 2025 with Within Temptation.<\/em><\/p>\n

Despite the heavy rain, Wacken 2025 was once again a great event, even though I was unable to photograph well over a dozen bands over the four days, partly because of the mud.<\/em>
\nWacken 2026 is just around the corner. Great bands have been announced and the anticipation is growing steadily.<\/em>
\nAt this point, I would like to once again express my respect for the organizers, thanks to security and all the people who were there for us.<\/em>
